Blade and Soul is a fantasy martial-arts MMORPG being developed by Korean MMO giant NcSoft and it’s Team BloodLust Division. Currently in Closed Beta Testing, the game is slated for a release in 2012.
Interestingly, Sony has also entered into an exclusive deal with NCSoft to bring this MMO to the PS3! Not only is this limited to Blade and Soul, all intellectual properties owned by NCSoft may make it to the PS3. Though the dates are unknown, this may quite be the biggest MMO blockbuster on a console after Final Fantasy XI’s stint on the PS2.

Blade and Soul features 8 playable classes of which there is information only about the Blade Master, Destroyer, Force Master and the Kung-Fu Master. NCSoft revealed a fifth class at GStar 2010 called the Assassin however, not much is known about this class yet.
