iPhone-4S

AT&T has announced that over 200,000 units of the iPhone 4S have already been pre-ordered in the first 12 hours of the phone going live. Numbers from other service providers such as Verizon and Sprint are unavailable at the moment but even they are open for pre-orders on the phone.

VentureBeat reports that Apple has already ran out of the first stock shipment for the iPhone 4S and a two week waiting period has been giving out to all those who are looking to get their hands on the phone.

Some analysts have predicted that the phone will sell close to 27 million units in the final quarter of 2011.

The iPhone 4S will be available in stores starting October 14, 2011 in the United States, Australia, Japan, Canada, France, Germany and the U.K.
