A document containing the story of BioWare’s Mass Effect 3 taken out of the client attained via the accidental leak of the game’s beta earlier in the week has been posted to the web. A Russian fansite Bioware.ru has posted the document stating that it contains the story of Mass Effect 3.
BioWare has confirmed the leak and has asked it’s fans not to read the document. It will not reflect or giveaway much of the game’s final script but it still might spoil certain parts of the game.
“We are still investigating, but it appears that some internal story files have been leaked,” said Jesse Houston of the studio.
“Even though the information in those files is out of date and does not reflect the final story experience, we urge fans not to read them if they want to experience the purest form of the story in Mass Effect 3.”
Mass Effect 3 is set for a release on March 6, 2012 for the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
